New Recordings, Chicago, and other News

The other day, Jared came over and we rerecorded “Give it to Me”. We added a couple things to it and it just sounds a lot better. He asked me before he left if I wanted to spend the night at his place and then go up to Chicago with him and a couple of his buddies to eat pizza. We spent the night there and were up til about 1:30. We woke up at 6:30 and ate at Waffle house, then went and picked up the 4th guy that came with us. We drove all the way to Chicago, walked around the city for a few hours and then ate pizza at a pizzeria called Quartino’s. The pizza was incredible, fairly inexpensive, and they gave us dessert on the house since we had come from Indianapolis. We will definitely be going down there again sometime. I really had so much fun.

Yesterday, I went over to best buy and bought two new CDs. I bought the new Incubus: Light Grenades and P.O.S. which is an indie hip hop artist. They’re both pretty good CDs. Then, Mike and I rented Little Miss Sunshine and Jackass 2 and ate Wendy’s. We went home and watched the movies and they were both pretty funny. Today, I’ve just been relaxing and recording. I recorded two songs. I redid “My Smiling Dove” and recorded a new one that I wrote today to test out multi vocal recording. I wanted to record and all vocal song with 4 or 5 of me singing. It was really funny and came out pretty cool. Tell me what you think. I go back to school tomorrow. My last semester. It’s the beginning of the end.
