School has been great, so far! I still like all of my classes. Nothing has gotten much worse is a great sign. I think I’m very prepared for this year’s research paper. We start researching on Monday and I have a great topic. Everything else has been perfect. I don’t have any classes with the hard scale this year, so I should be able to get a lot more As since 4 out of my 7 were on that scale last year.

I’ve started working out after school with Lauren and Jessica.¬†They’re my buddies, but I think they’re going to stop after this week. Drew is taking his driver’s test right now and he’s gonna get his license. We’re probably going to end up working out after school each day once the girls stop. I’ve been doing all upper body work and then, I run. I started with half a mile a week and a half ago and I today I ran a mile and a half. Tomorrow, depending on how I’m feeling, I’m going to run 2 miles.

The first week back in school was excellent. I have a great feeling about this year compared to how everything was last year. I’m actually excited about the research paper which is really weird. All of my classes are really interesting. I love all of my teachers.

The weekend was moderately busy. On Friday, I played a show with Mike, Dave, and Stephen. We improvised a 35 minute set and people actually liked it! We’re actually going to follow through with it as a side project. We’re probably going to play a show this weekend, but I’m not sure. Yesterday, I hung out with Lauren. She took me to Rascal’s and McDonald’s. We didn’t make it to the bank in time. I owe her one. That was fun. Last night I watched the movie Elephant with Mike which was insane! It was really messed up, but the way it was filmed and the way the plot unwinded was really unique. I definitely recommend that one.

I got a few good shows coming up soon. This fall is going to be great. I’m going to make the most of this year because I will most likely be moving to Bloomington next year.
