Moving Along

Almost half of the summer is gone. It’s insane. The trip to Georgia was awesome… I got a few people presents and that was cool. The night that I got back, we took Shelby out to dinner and it was great seeing her. I have an amazing time with her.

I haven’t talked to Lauren since Thursday. She left Friday. For some reason, I had the notion that she was leaving for Canada on Sunday. I was wrong. I can’t wait to see her when she gets back and give her her presents.

I’m half way finished with reading A Farewell to Arms. It’s pretty romantic but it’s from the guy’s perspective and World War I is just really getting in their way to be with eachother. It’s pretty good though. I like Ernest Hemingway’s writing.

My birthday is a week from tomorrow. I think I want to have a billion people over for a party or something. We’ll see… I want to record everyone singing Happy Birthday to me. That will be the last song to record for the CD.

That about says it all. I don’t have much else to talk about.

i just had to let you know..
    that shelby song is amazing.
a bit heavy in the ol’ love department for me..
    but really, really good.
would you want to record & produce KIR’s new stuff?

I finished the Catcher in the Rye, and I’m preparing to start on 1984 tonight. You can read it too, if you want.

I must say The Catcher in the Rye was something else. Okay so it didn’t really appeal to my senses…I just don’t read.. stuff..[holds back from saying "crap"] like that. We need a book discussion, I didn’t get that at all.. Maybe a little friendly insight would help me come to terms with it.[Hehe, I needs Bill's Notes.. ; )]

August 1. I plan on starting to study French again. I was thinking of getting like you, Mike, Tucson, Jess, Chris and I together to study every once in awhile [okay like weekly or something]. Chris and Mike and I can refresh, then start catching the rest of you guys up, and you guys can fill us in where we forget. But only if you want. I vaguely remember you having an allergic reaction to studying commitments. Fine. But may I remind you that French III is no cup of tea at all..

    Think that about covers it!
    Love you.
    Lauren.
